My fear exists because I feel safer hiding some things about myself

(dont we all?)
is that shame?
am i to blame?

I am tired of blaming. All who feel powerless want to blame someone.
Too many people feel [ or are ] powerless

It\’s this sickness
this imbalance in justice
amongst us
It belongs to
we the people
We let greed slide in
In places of power
in our inattention
and our distraction
we cower.
but restlessly we sporadically
emphatically
rise
and empower
In stubborn relentless hours
we struggle
And the others just striving to get by, slowly absorb
into the hole
flushed
and pushed around
until we drown

Or is it just me?
